Kevin Reiter, MD

Assistant Professor of Family Medicine through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell & Associate Medical Director of GoHealth Urgent Care

Dr. Kevin Reiter is currently an Associate Medical Director with Northwell Health Go Health Urgent Care. He helps to oversee clinical operations on Long Island. While holding the title of Assistant Professor of Family Medicine through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell he remains active and involved with training both residents as well as advanced practitioners in the field of Urgent Care. Dr .Reiter has been very involved with starting an Urgent Care training track within the Department of Family Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in collaboration with GoHealth which he currently oversees. His goal is to expose medical trainees to the growing field of Urgent Care and provide a focused training track for career preparedness. He continues to remain active working as both a hospitalist as well as precepting Family Medicine residents in the same Northwell Family Medicine programs at Glen Cove and Huntington Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Prior to returning to medical school at Saba University School of Medicine, Kevin worked as a Physician Assistant in various fields over a ten year career including Orthopedics, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. He is excited to share his knowledge and experience of Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis in the Urgent Care.
